From detail to direction.

A practice rooted in fifteen years in image-making, now working at the level of direction and visual strategy.

I read faces, products and brands as visual systems. My background is editorial beauty: makeup, photography, retouching, colour and light at close range. Over time that way of seeing became larger than any single discipline.

Today I work at the level of creative direction and visual strategy — staying at direction level, or taking a concept through to execution when that protects it.

Evolution

Beauty → Image → Direction → Strategy

Editorial beauty came first — makeup on set, at the scale of millimetres. It expanded into photography, lighting and retouching, then into colour studies and visual systems, and finally into creative direction: owning the whole frame from concept to delivery.
