Behind the studio

I am a makeup artist and creative image director based in Bologna. My practice spans editorial makeup, beauty and fashion, drawing on nearly fifteen years of experience on set and in visual content.

For over a decade, I created beauty content for social and digital platforms, developing concepts, styling, photography and video. That experience shaped my understanding of how images communicate and led me to expand my practice into creative direction and social strategy.

Colour research is central to my work. I study how shades, contrast, light and texture shape visual perception, moving between pigment on skin and digital palettes defined through HEX codes. My ongoing exploration of image-making and modern design informs my approach to composition and contemporary fashion imagery.

I bring this research into makeup, creative direction and visual identities for brands and professionals, extending it into social content and editorial planning. Alongside project work, I teach professional makeup and share my approach through training and masterclasses.
